This project, which involved CIESPI and the study group on the civic participation of children and youth at the department of Social Work at the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro, includes a network of eleven researchers in Brazil, South Africa, India and the United Kingdom. The network was formed during an international meeting at the University of Edinburgh in 2006. The project’s research and discussions of the proceeding years were published in a special edition of O Social em Questão Vol. 27, May, 2012.
