CIESPI wins first prize for video on street children
On December 15, in a jury selection, CIESPI´s entry into the competition organized by the Rio Children´s Network `May I speak´ won first prize for the video it produced with the Sao Martinho Beneficient Society. The title of the video was ``I am pregnant, so now what?´´. The video featured two young women, Chrislayne and Tais. The competition, the award ceremony which was held in the Museum of the Republic in Rio, was aimed at informing people about the reality of life on the streets and encouraging the participation of boys and girls and young men and women. Through such means, the Rio Children´s Network hopes to help young street youth be heard and their voices respected.
