Child and youth participation in the Latin American Academic Literature

The project “Monitoring child participation in policies and international child protection programs” seeks to identify approaches and participatory methodologies which would permit deepening comprehension about child and youth participation principally those which refer to implementation in the sphere of the protection and guarantee of rights.

This data base “Child and youth participation—Academic Literature from 2005-2019” was created in order to organize and make familiar ideas, definitions, and methodologies related to the theme. It includes 149 articles in Portuguese and Spanish as well as a brief summary of the debates that are contained in these articles.
